Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Business Visual Ltd (Company No. 4549864)

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Business Visual Ltd to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business operations and supply chains.

1. Our Business

Business Visual Ltd is a UK-registered limited company providing visual, photographic, digital, and media-based services.

Our activities include creative production, digital content creation, and associated professional services.
We operate primarily in the United Kingdom and work with suppliers both within the UK and internationally.

2. Our Commitment

Business Visual Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking, and we are committed to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure such practices do not occur within our business or supply chains.

3. Policies

To support our commitment, we maintain policies and practices that promote ethical conduct and lawful working conditions, including:

  • Standards of professional and ethical behaviour
  • Expectations that suppliers, contractors, and freelancers comply with applicable labour and employment laws
  • Procedures for raising concerns, including whistleblowing arrangements

These policies are reviewed periodically and updated as required.

4. Risk Assessment

We recognise that the risk of modern slavery varies by sector, geography, and type of labour.
Our assessment considers:

  • The nature of services procured
  • Use of subcontractors or freelance labour
  • Geographic location of suppliers

Based on the nature of our business, we consider the overall risk of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains to be low, but we remain vigilant.

5. Due Diligence

Our due diligence measures include:

  • Assessing suppliers and contractors before engagement
  • Seeking confirmation that suppliers comply with relevant employment and labour legislation
  • Reserving the right to terminate relationships where serious breaches or non-compliance are identified

Where concerns arise, we aim to engage constructively with suppliers to address issues where appropriate.

6. Training and Awareness

Directors and relevant personnel are made aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and understand how to identify potential indicators of exploitation.
Training is provided where proportionate to role and risk.

7. Reporting Concerns

Employees, contractors, and business partners are encouraged to report any concerns relating to modern slavery or human trafficking. Reports can be made directly to company management and will be treated seriously, confidentially, and without retaliation.

8. Effectiveness and Review

We monitor the effectiveness of our approach through:

  • Periodic review of supplier relationships
  • Review of internal practices and policies
  • Consideration of any reported incidents or concerns

This statement will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary.
